The Hyde Park Murder by Elliot Roosevelt (B2)

Eleanor Roosevelt's first case was hailed by the Washington Post Book World as Charming... The New York Times book Review said, It may be that Murder and the First Lady will permanently occupy a very special place in the affection of crime aficionados. Now the fiesty First Lady's back - and as usual, she's full of suprises.

When Hyde Park neighbor Alfred Doolittle Hannah is accused of a multi-million dollar stock swindle, FDR is troubled and doubtful, but Mrs. R is determined to investigate the odd affair - especially since it threatens the upcoming marriage and future happiness of another Hyde Park neighbo; the lovely nineteen year old Adriana va der Meer. When Hannah dies in an apparent suicide, Mrs. Roosevelt shrewdly smells murder.
